How can I follow Jesus?
We are all sinners.
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of God’s glorious standard.”
God loves you.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
Jesus died and rose again to pay for your sins.
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
1 Corinthians 15:4 “Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.”
Pray and ask Him to come into your life.
Romans 10:9 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:13 “For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Salvation Prayer:
“God, I know that I’m a sinner and because of my sin I am separated from You. I am sorry for my sin. I believe that Jesus was your Son. I believe that He lived a perfect life, died on the cross for my sins, rose again from the grave, and is the only way for salvation. Please come into my life, forgive me for my sin, and help me to follow You with my life. I accept you as my Savior, Jesus, and I give my heart to You. I commit to following You living my life Your way. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”

What is baptism?
Baptism is a picture (or symbol) of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. It’s a visible way to show our commitment of faith through the representation of our life getting buried with Jesus (put under the water) and becoming a new person, living a new life (raised out of the water).
Baptism happens after we place our faith in Jesus. Following Jesus is the first step of our faith journey! Baptism the second step!
What can I expect?
At Harbor Life, we have a large metal trough (yes, a horse trough but it’s clean and we painted it!) that we bring on stage to baptize new believers!
No, you won’t have to say anything from stage if you don’t want to. Yes, you will have to get wet, but we heat the water, and we provide a towel and a new shirt. You will want to bring a change of clothes!
